Anokian Nature's Mallow & Linden Exfoliating Cream is a natural facial exfoliant made in Quebec. Formulated with mallow and linden grown on our farm, it gently exfoliates the skin, removes impurities and helps refine skin texture. Its soft texture leaves the face clean, smooth and radiant while respecting sensitive skin. Use once or twice a week to complete your facial care ritual.

Musk mallow and linden:We grow pesticide-free and lovingly harvest our wildflowers and plants on our estate, then transform these precious ingredients into powerful extracts for our body care products.

Musk mallow:

Intense hydration:Musk mallow oil is rich in essential fatty acids, including omega-3, 6, and 9, which help deeply hydrate facial skin. It is particularly beneficial for dry and dehydrated skin.

Anti-aging action:Musk mallow is rich in vitamins A, C and E, as well as antioxidants, which help protect the skin from free radical damage and reduce the signs of premature aging, such as wrinkles, fine lines and pigment spots.

Skin repair:Thanks to its fatty acid and vitamin A content, musk mallow oil promotes cell regeneration and skin healing, helping to reduce the appearance of scars, stretch marks and skin imperfections.

Linden:

Skin soothing:Linden has soothing and anti-inflammatory properties that can help calm skin irritations, redness and itching, especially for sensitive skin or skin prone to allergic reactions.

Toning action:Linden can help tone and tighten skin pores, leaving skin firmer and smoother.

Antioxidants:Linden contains antioxidants that help protect the skin from free radical damage, helping to prevent premature aging and maintain youthful skin.

Jojoba oil: While jojoba oil is moisturizing, it's also lightweight and non-comedogenic, meaning it won't clog pores. It can help regulate sebum production in those with oily skin, controlling excess shine while hydrating dry areas.

Saskatoon Pink Salt;Using Saskatoon salt as a skin exfoliant can offer several benefits, particularly due to its granular texture, which can help remove dead skin cells and smooth the skin's surface.

Beeswax :By forming a protective layer on the skin, beeswax helps protect the skin against external aggressions such as wind, cold and pollution, thus reducing the risk of dryness and irritation.

Cleanse your face:Start by cleansing your face with a gentle cleanser suited to your skin type. This will remove all traces of makeup, dirt, and excess oil, preparing your skin for exfoliation.

Apply the exfoliant:Take a small amount of exfoliant onto clean, dry fingers. Apply it to your face, avoiding the eye and lip area. Gently massage in circular motions for about 30 seconds to a minute, focusing on rough or dry areas but avoiding excessively vigorous rubbing.

Rinse thoroughly:After exfoliating your face, rinse thoroughly with warm water to remove any remaining exfoliant. You can also use a soft washcloth to help remove any remaining exfoliant particles.

Moisturize your skin:After exfoliating, apply an Anokian Nature anti-aging cream suited to your skin type to seal in moisture and soothe the skin.

Frequency :Don't exfoliate your skin more than once or twice a month to avoid irritation or dryness. For sensitive skin, once every 3 weeks may be sufficient.

Choose the right time:Facial exfoliation is often best done in the evening, as it allows your skin to regenerate overnight. Avoid exfoliating just before sun exposure, as your skin may be more sensitive to UV rays.

Pre-exfoliation with steam:If you have oily skin or are looking for a deeper exfoliation, you can open your pores by using warm steam before applying your exfoliant. Hold your face over a bowl of warm water for a few minutes to allow the steam to open your pores, then exfoliate.

Focus on rough areas:Focus on rough or dry areas of your face, such as your forehead, nose, and chin. These areas tend to accumulate more dead skin cells and can benefit from extra exfoliation.
