The “Pisanello da Bruschetta” is an Italian origin, named after the Renaissance painter, Pisanello Da Bruschetta tomatoes are grown in Tuscany.
The short, fat, ribbed variety balances sweetness and acidity well, making it perfect for savory bruschetta. It produces beautiful, medium-sized, flattened, ribbed red fruits with a very good balanced sweet-sour taste and a rich, fruity tomato aroma.
It is a beautiful and tasty tomato. It is an indeterminate plant and extraordinarily productive, until the end of the season (the harvest is early). The average weight is 100-150 grams, but they reach up to 350 grams.
In Tuscany you will find the Pisanello da Bruschetta, it has a flat and rounded rib shape, big and juicy, it is the main tomato of the classic bruschetta salad with garlic, onion and olive oil, it is used in many dishes of the region.

An early variety, from germination to fruiting it takes between 75-80 days and 110 days for large tomatoes.
It is an extremely hardy variety with high yields even in cold places and above all it is easy to grow.
