Preparing Herbal Tea: Herbal tea is a light herbal infusion, usually prepared with delicate leaves, flowers or seeds.

1 to 2 teaspoons dried herbs (or 1 to 2 tablespoons fresh herbs)

1 cup (250 ml) hot water

Heat the water: Heat the water until it is hot but not boiling (about 90-95°C or 194-203°F).

Infuse the herbs: Place the herbs in a cup or teapot. Pour the hot water over the herbs.

Let it steep: Cover the cup or teapot to retain the aromas.

Let steep for 5 to 10 minutes, depending on desired strength. Longer infusions can extract more flavor and benefits, but also become more bitter.
